Group Swim Lessons

6 Months – Adults Chinatown YMCA, Embarcadero YMCA, Marin YMCA, Peninsula Family YMCA, Presidio Community YMCA, Stonestown Family YMCA
Swimming is not only a well-known healthy activity that exercises the entire body —it is also a skill that can both save lives and enrich them.
A young child wearing goggles and a swim cap is swimming in a pool while being watched by an adult instructor.

At the Y, we believe swimming is an important life skill. Our Group Swim lessons prepare individuals of all ages to be strong and confident swimmers. Using a skill based continuum in a safe environment, students learn to stay safe and have fun while in the water.
